The North Cotswold Pet Service Association (NCPSA) is a small, curated network created to bring together reputable, welfare-focused pet professionals from across the region.
As Hound & Hoof continues to grow, we receive many enquiries that fall outside our capacity or service area. Rather than turning people away, the NCPSA allows us to confidently signpost clients to reliable, insured, and responsible services operating locally.
Our aim is simple:
to raise standards of care, share recommendations, and ensure every pet owner can access trustworthy support when they need it.

The NCPSA directory (currently in development) will include reputable, welfare-focused professionals offering:

Verified, insured walkers offering solo or group walks across the North Cotswolds.

🛁 Groomers, Trainers & Behaviour Support

Trusted local professionals referenced by members.

🐶 Pet Sitters & House Sitters

Reliable in-home care for dogs, cats and small animals.(DBS-checked and insured only.)

🐱 Cat Care Specialists

Daily pop-ins, feeding, medication, and home-based support.

🏡 Licensed Home Boarders

Professionals providing boarding under valid local authority licences.

🐰 Small Animal, Smallholding & Livestock Care

Rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, poultry, goats, sheep, alpacas and small-scale livestock.

🐴 Equine Care Providers

Experienced carers offering field checks, yard duties, holiday cover and routine support.

🌿 Other Specialist Pet Services

Holistic care, canine massage, barefoot hoof trimming and wedding chaperones.

Every member will confirm insurance, DBS status (where relevant), and their service areas so referrals are safe and accurate.
