Eleanor Taylor - Founder of Hound & Hoof

Eleanor has a background in Zoology and hands-on experience working with a wide range of animals, from small mammals and birds to exotic species like zebras and giraffes. Her early career included animal training for TV and advertising before shifting focus to local, relationship-based care.

She founded Hound & Hoof to offer thoughtful, reliable support for dogs, cats, horses, chickens and other animals, combining practical care with calm, attentive handling.

Her approach is influenced by natural horsemanship principles, particularly the Parelli method, which inform her work with all animals. Eleanor continues to develop her skills through hands-on experience and a commitment to ethical, animal-led care.

Claire Goddin - Dog Walker & Animal Carer

Claire brings a naturally calm, observant presence to every walk. With a background in nursing and a lifelong love of dogs, she has a gentle, steady energy that animals (and humans) instinctively trust.

She walks every day, rain or shine, often with her Labrador Henry by her side. For Claire, dog walking isn’t just a job, it’s part of her lifestyle and her way of staying connected to nature and wellbeing.

Kind, reliable, and grounded, she’s especially well-suited to dogs who need a quiet, patient companion and a peaceful rhythm to their day.

Liv Powell -
Dog Walker & Animal Carer

Liv joins us with hands-on experience from volunteering in a grooming salon and working at a boarding kennels. She's grown up with dogs and currently has a spaniel and a cockapoo at home who she adores. 
She brings a calm, kind and switched on presence around animals, with a genuine interest in scentwork, shepherd breeds and protection-style training. Her thoughtful approach fits naturally with our connection-led care.

Rebecca Bunce -
Dog Walker & Animal Carer

Becky has grown up around dogs all of her life and adores the companionship that they bring. From Labradors, Spaniels and Lhasa Apsos, she has lived with and cared for a wide variety of different dogs, all with their own personalities and quirky requirements. For about a year, Becky also volunteered as a photographer and admin assistant (for both dogs and cats) at the Blue Cross charity and she found this exceptionally rewarding and educational. It gave her a wealth of experience around the more sensitive animals as well as giving her some adorable subjects to photograph with the end-result of finding them their forever homes. With an appreciation for nature and a love for walking and hiking in her spare time, Becky is well used to everything that the Great British weather can throw at her!
